Very exciting to receive my copy of the sequel to Pearl’s adventures. Lovely to see the kindness and warmth throughout the book, and the illustrations are once again just stunning. Perfect for little children to enjoy and start a collection in this gorgeous series.

Its a wonderfully imaginative story on the theme of kindness/compassion, and is both beautifully illustrated and written. Mother Moon is the perfect companion to Pearl & The Fish – the stories flow together beautifully

An exciting yet comforting bedtime read for young readers, with some beautiful illustrations. The deluxe version is stunning - the foiled cover catches the light with a pearlescent effect which is really fitting!

I love the pictures of the bubbles, and the biscuits look yummy! I like all the satisfying descriptions which make me feel cosy and warm. It is a really nice story to read before you go to sleep. I’m going to try out Pearl’s idea!

This delightful book opens a child’s imagination with its lovely story and gorgeous pictures - this is one to keep

I loved the story and Pat's illustrations. My niece really enjoyed the story. I think a positive message for all children who are scared of the dark.

All four of our children really enjoyed Pearl and the Fish. Our eldest two children (7 & 9) loved the illustrations which really bring the book to life and our youngest two children (4 & 5) love the story of making biscuits for their imaginary friends at bedtime and blowing bubbles with the goldfish! looking forward to the next book in the series :)

Our toddler (2.5 years old) loves this book. He doesn’t yet have an understanding of dreams but he loves the illustrations and listens to the full story and comments on some of the pages himself. His favourite pages are the ones with the “aliens” (Moon Pearls) and the colourful fishes. We feel this is going to be a great little story for him to remember when he does understand dreams more as he grows.

Pearl is so cute and adventurous, there is a sense of pure enjoyment and magic about this lovely tale. There's lots to look at and talk about in the pictures and words too.

A truly wonderful book to share with little ones. The beautiful drawing and colours beckon you into a magical world and the story is equally imaginative and delightful. It’s a gentle starting point to discussion, which is what the best children’s books do. I’m really excited to see how this series progresses and where Pearl travels to next.

My Daughters loved this book. Full of imagination and amazing pictures. Look forward to recommending to people.

Such a beautiful and sweet story about a little girl called Pearl who is afraid of the dark and overcomes it, being friends with The Fish! The book itself is so beautiful drawn and written, and big enough in size for children and their parents to really immerse themselves in the art and story! It is a kind and simple read, with a key message that children can take away.
Looking forward to the next children’s book in this series! Please can it be a hamster (hehe!)

A lovely gentle story about a little girl called Pearl who has overcome her fear of the dark.
It has transported me on a journey back to my own childhood so vividly.
Every descriptive page is full of gentle words and stunning colourful illustrations.
This book really does make me smile.

The illustrations in Patricia's book are both innocent, exciting and very quirky. We go on a thrilling ride ‘on a fish’ to the stars. An adventure for the young to explore imagination and friendship. I’m sure this will become a classic!
